Commander Gorf is the almost-identical young brother of Commander Borf, who shares his brother's desire to conquer the galaxy.

Space Ace comics[]

Unlike his brother, Gorf had studied military theory, strategy and battlefield warfare.

Gorf bought information to learn about the powerful Synchronously Dividing Matter Divider, a superweapon invented by the Geovites on Zandoria with whose power he could conquer the universe. He arranged an audience with the Geovite General Zang, offering his combat expertise; in the same moment however, he had allied with the Neovites, and arranged a strike against the Geovites.

But he could not complete his plan alone. He learned that his brother had been transformed into a baby by his own Infanto Ray, after the actions of Ace and Kimberly, but learning that they were attempting to adopt him and make a family and raise him as their own was a big insult.

Pursuing Ace[]

Armed with an ageing weapon, he followed Ace's traces and ended up to the laboratory of an alien doctor. Shooting him with the gun, he demanded to know where Ace went, and was directed to Earth.

Rescuing Borf[]

Again, he broke into a lab where Ace (attempting to reverse the effects of the Infanto Ray on him) had grown a long beard), and demanded his brother. The two humans dodged his hits, but Ace lost his blaster while doing so, which Gorf crushed under his foot. Kimberly however shot his hand, disarming him. As Ace was about to fight him on equal terms, he turned into his teenage self, Dexter. Gorf picked him up and hurled him against Kimberly, giving himself time to get his weapon back, and shoot Dexter.

However, as Dexter transformed into his teen self, the ageing ray did not have the lethal effects Gorf expected, simply turning him into an aged Dexter. Again, Kimberly shot his arm, and took aged Dexter and baby Borf to a shuttle. Gorf did the same, to pursue them. Damaging one of the shuttle's fins, he forced them to land on the Junk Planet. Gorf stalked them inside a factory, where Ace was carrying an unconscious Kimberly, with Borf hanging from his back. Gorf managed a successful shot of his ray gun at Borf, turning him back to his mature self (albeit naked), falling on Ace.

Gorf fetched him a spare uniform and reluctantly agreed to follow Borf's plans of revenge against the two humans. Borf chained them on a metal block and activated a conveyor system, to watch them perish in a pit of molten metal, but Gorf insisted that they had no time for vengeful satisfaction, having more urgent matters to attend.

Conquering the universe[]

Back on his shuttle, he fixed his brother's mood by telling him of the Zandorian superweapon, and that should they take control of it, universal domination would be theirs.

On their way to the Trogdor Sector, they made a stop in a space station for refueling, and Gorf threatened a serviceman to equip his shuttle with the best stuff. While sitting in a diner, he overheard some aliens talking about Zandoria, and, unrooting his table, he hit them with it, demanding to tell him what they know. Soon a fight started, and he managed all the thugs coming, until the whole place was against him. Soon he was joined by Borf who returned from the "can". Seeing that the Zandoria story was sold to more, and together they destroyed the place.

Double-crossing[]

On Zandoria, Gorf and Borf rendezvous with Zord, who had made all preparations waiting for the Commander. He leads them to Geovite official, who had asked for combat specialists. In order to see they are worthy to see the General Zang, he puts them prove their combat abilities by fighting a large robot. Gorf instructs Borf to remove his belt, he ties them to make a long tether, and they stretch them in order to make the robot's legs trip on it, thus defeating it.

The official accepted to lead the brothers to General Zang who had heard of them. Right then they are alerted about a Neovite raiding party storming the gates. Then Gorf proceeds to snap Zang’s neck, revealing their true colors. Right when the Geovite guards are ready to execute the spies, the raiding party immediately blasts through the wall and captured the base.

Gorf, however, had no idea that Ace and Kimberly had survived and escaped, followed their traces, and knew about their plans for the planet.

First victory[]

With General Narn, the brothers led a successful assault against the Geovite research center and claimed the superweapon. Gorf ordered some defenses to expect a counterattack. As he ordered the deployment of his underlings at sector 269, he led his brother to the machine. He explained they would be halfway to Earth by the time the Zandorians knew what happened, and showed him the approaching Armada-class starship carrier he requisitioned it.

During the peak of the battle they were loading the Divider into the ship, but Borf noticed that there were no casualties; they didn't know that Ace and Kimberly had revealed their plans to the Zandorians, resulting to a truce. The two sides feigned to fight each other, while the agents moved to stop them. Gorf activated his "contigency plan". They massacred the crew of the ship, and he told Borf to comand the weapons station and shot indiscriminately against the battlefield.

Meanwhile, to his surprise, he saw Ace and Kimberly, thinking them dead, boarding the ship. Borf admitted it wasn't as easy as he thought to kill the humans, and the brothers were ready for the final confrontation.

Final encounter[]

While they exchanged shots, Ace once more turns into Dexter, but the Zandorians attack the ship. Gorf explains to Borf that the ship's anti-gravity systems won't make the crash on teh planet's surface too hard. Realising their failure, Gorf loads the Divider to eliminate all Zandorian armies so that they can leave without opposition. If it wasn't for Ace who gets in the way and overloads the weapon, destroying it. Lamenting his fate for making the galaxy his (or "theirs", when Gorf looks at him suspiciously) he anticipates their next plan when they see three Aces, each in a different age.

It turns out their laser guns were neutralized after the weapon's discharge, and all five engage in a brawl. Young and old Dexter incapacitate Borf while Gorf is still dealing with the real Ace, calling him his opposite which complements him, like "Sklebach to my Skloyo". Then the other two Dexters show up and they all give Gorf a triple uppercut.

This allowed Ace to immobilize them and deliver them to the authorites. As they walked cuffed to the vehicle, Zandorians all around them, Gorf told to his brother that planning could get them only that far, as conquering the universe was not a simple thing.
