
The Junk Planet is a planet that appears in the Space Ace franchise, debuting in the 1984 arcade game and subsequently appearing in other media. The planet apparently exists as a mostly automated garbage disposal service, although some biological creatures as reside there.

After Dexter descends upon the Junk Planet, he must evade the large trash-compacting machines while timing his jumps to progress the unstable terrain. Ace must also contend with robotic and biological enemies such as Auto Broom and the Slime Monster.
An abbreviated version of the Junk Planet appears early in ReadySoft’s 1989 home computer port, although the game also adds hazards and enemies from other sections of the original game.
Space Ace Comics[]
The Junk Planet features as a focal location in the second and third chapters of the Space Ace comic book series.
Ace and Kimberly, transporting Baby Borf, attempt an emergency landing near one of the planet’s processing stations while fleeing from Commander Gorf, but Kimberly is knocked unconscious in the crash. Gorf manages to ambush Ace and reverses the effects of the Infanto Ray on Borf, restoring him to his normal age and demeanor. Before departing the planet, the evil brothers chain up both heroes on a conveyor belt to be boiled alive. Dexter manages to get loose and frees Kimberly after some comedic struggles.
As Ace and Kimberly hatch a plan to pursue of Gorf and Borf, some thugs ambush them and threaten to sell them into slavery on Marzipan One. The heroes overcome the thugs and resume their pursuit of the villainous brothers.
