Living Rocks are a type of villainous creature that features exclusively in the Ruby-Spears Dragon's Lair animated series episode "The Pool of Youth." Along with a group of Living Trees, the Living Rocks ambush Dirk the Daring, Princess Daphne, Timothy, and Bertram as the heroes journey to Avalon on a quest to liberate the town’s villagers from the magic of the evil Biralla. The heroes conclude the Rocks and Trees must have also been created by Biralla’s magic. After the heroes escape to higher ground, and the Rocks and Trees attempt to reach them by climbing atop one another, but are defeated when Bertram kicks a boulder that topples them, crumbling the Rocks and stripping the trees of their green foliage.
