Trivia[]
- The sword in the gemstone which Dirk and Blunt seek is modeled after the Magic Sword featured in the original game. In order to reach Cinge's lair, the two knights navigate through The Castle, avoiding traps like the Collapsing Wall and the staircase encounter with the Giddy Goons. Ironically, after capturing Cinge, the knights leave the sword behind, never attempting to use it to against Cinge.
- After Blunt wishes to become king, the magical alterations to history result in King Ethelred and Princess Daphne becoming his royal servants, with no memories of their own royal heritage. Both characters receive servant attire, but Daphne is still seen in her regal dress for several sequences without explanation.
